The SPSH Link Up

Before I start this post I must apologise for the underlining in some of the type. I am having an intermittent issue with Blogger that I can’t solve. After several frustrating attempts to get rid of it I have had to continue and try and ignore it.
I am a few days late joining in with Patio Postcards SPSH link up but here are a few of my finds.
7. Something that displays a rule.
This sign is displayed outside our local post office.

I liked this polite and humorous request at RHS Rosemoor in their newly constructed Cold Garden where the water feature is a key part.

No. 16 Rough Texture. Another tree trunk spotted in a garden.

  1. I had that problem with the new blogger where in draft it underlines the text and it's impossible to change it but when published, there's no underlining visible. It's frustrating isn't it?

I had to stop and puzzle out how 'Maggie' could be represented by poppies and then I remembered what your surname is!

You have a good selection of wheel photos but I think the tree having a bad hair day is my favourite.

  2. You are right about the underlining. I hadn’t checked! All that wasted time frustrating over it!

  3. Maggie some wonderful finds for SPSH - thanks for joining in. I particularly like the last photo, such artistic work.

  4. The "don't make us ask" is good - haven't seen that round here. Your poppies are lovely, and that's quite a selection of wheels, but my fave is that hairy tree trunk. Never seen such a thing!

  5. What great photos - but the one that made me smile the most was the hairy tree trunk, what on earth is that?!

    1. It’s a kind of palm tree I think. I didn’t take a picture of the whole thing but there is one like it in this post https://farmerswifedaybyday.blogspot.com/2020/07/leaves-and-trees.html

  6. I don't use Blogger, but lots of people are complaining about it since they "upgraded." As always, you have some great finds. The poppies are beautiful, and so are the swans.

  7. Fabulous snapshots! Well done you!

I had that problem with Blogger too. What it is doing is turning your regular text into hyperlinks. When I click on the underlined text about it takes me to the photo above it.

I think this happens if you insert the picture and then don't start a new paragraph for the text. If you type too close to the photo you just inserted, it thinks that it is a caption and it hyperlinks it. I think if you right click on the underlined text you can undo the hyperlink. I hope that helps, because yes it is very frustrating.

    1. Strangely the problem doesn’t seem to have occurred again but I better not speak too soon!
