From sun to storm.

The first Morning Glory flower was in bloom this morning in the conservatory.

Each flower only lasts a day and by late afternoon it was already dying.

The weather has been warm and dry for several days and set to stay like that. Like many farms we have a lot of grass cut for hay and haylage. It was therefore quite a worry when the blue sky turned dark this afternoon.

A sudden storm of rain whilst inconvenient to most can damage the quality of hay for that year.
Luckily the storm passed us by and they were able to continue making large bales for haylage that were brought back to the farm to do be wrapped.

This will supply fodder mainly for horses and some cattle during the winter.
