It is always interesting to see what pops up when a bit of ground is cleared. In this instance a new hedge has been planted and some soil has been brought in.
The result is poppies!
Poppies love a bit of new ground.
I particularly like the colour of this last one.

ReplyDeleteI just love those pink poppies. We see lots of red and orange here, but I don't think I've ever seen that lovely shade of pink.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty colours. I do love the traditional image of a red poppy, but it's nice to have some variety.
