Memorandum Monday: Toes in the Ocean

Good morning to all on this Monday morning and a wave to Sian the creator of Memorandum Monday. I hope you have all had a good weekend. Ours turned out to be busier than we had expected with our impromptu trip to Cornwall on Saturday. When we had finished our wanderings at the Royal Cornwall Show there was only ONE place to go. We made our way to our all time favourite beach at Harlyn Bay.

There was time for a walk on the beach and a first of the year. A paddle in the sea. Sorry no snaps of my feet to prove it.

Older daughter went a step further and had her first swim of the year. It was for some reason quite brief.

There was one member of the family who watched with shoes still firmly on.

There was also time for a brief wander along the cliffs.

To eat the first real Cornish Pasty of the year nearly shared with a greedy seagull.

Then one last breath of sea air before the journey home.

  1. Glad you managed to fit in a quick paddle, water looks great but beach quiet?
