Memorandum Monday: Preparing for the Next Step

Well I have now dried out from Saturday night. You can find out more about that here. It's Monday again and time to join Sian thinking about anything new we have done or learnt over the weekend.
Well here it has been a weekend of thinking about new horizons. We have started to collect items together ready for younger daughter to take to University. A trip to TK Max was very successful.

Then it's been looking through cupboards for a few more items along with rustling through boxes of stuff left by tenants. She now has quite a tidy collection.

Next it's finding some of the specific clothing and equipment required. So where do you suppose we buy a goniometer? I think Amazon will come in useful there...
Then there has been the more tricky issue. The horse. A hard decision has had to be made to find Margo a new home. Younger daughter has exciting new goals to work towards. Many tears have been shed and still will be shed in finding the right home and the right loving owner for Margo. I am sure you will all wish us luck as we start along this new path for her.

  2. Exciting times. So what exactly is a goniometer? I love the last picture. Sad decision but best for all in the long run I am sure xx

  3. I had to look up "goniometer," so that might be my new thing for the weekend. (It's a three day weekend here.) Exciting times---getting ready for the university---but giving up a beloved animal must make it bittersweet.

  4. A very tough decision for younger daughter to make about Margo. Sometimes the right thing is not always the easy thing ... I will send positive energy thoughts that a good match & fit for Margo enters the picture. In her stash, I really like those heart dishes.

  5. Absolutely. I wish her all the very best, all of you, in fact, as you carry through what must have been a very, very hard decision
