Easter Saturday

I have spent a lot of the day preparing for our visitors tomorrow. I had already made the Easter Cakes yesterday.

The Simnel cake has rather large Apostles this year as the family have been very quick to tell me.

This Chocolate Marble cake is marvellous for the waistline! I have made this cake virtually every Easter for the last 21 years! The first one was consumed on the Malvern Hills.

Meanwhile Socks the cat slumbered in the sunshine in the conservatory.

And Monty chewed his bone in the garden.
