Take Three Thursday: Arches

On a Thursday I join Mary-Lou with her Take Three Thursday where you chose 3 photos in a theme. This week I have chosen three that I took last Friday when I visited Barley Wood Walled Garden. Those of you that have followed my blog for a while will know that I like to take pictures framed by an arch . Here are three peeps into the garden which give you an incentive to want to see more.

1. The doorway at the top of the garden as you approach from the road looking down one of the paths and reaching out to the view beyond.

2. Looking back up through an arch of Apple blossom from the bottom of the garden again showing another of the brick paths. The main gate is at the top of the path.

3. A sneaky look back into the garden as we walk up the side through the orchard.

  1. Always enjoy your arch photos - it is a wonderful way to frame such magnificent views, especially the view in the first photo. Thanks for joining in Maggie.

  2. I'm another fan. That effect of "looking through" adds so much to the view and to our thought process, I think, as we look.
