Beatrix Potter Recycled

One of the highlights in the flower tent at The Royal Cornwall Show is always the display by Lifton Farm Shop. This year they have chosen the story of Peter Rabbit and his friends. A very apt subject for this year when the Peter Rabbit film has been released.

It has also occurred to me that most of these photos fit two of the prompts for the Summertime Photography Scavenger Hunt. These are No. 16 Something that could be from a favourite book/movie as many of the Beatrix Potter characters feature or No. 17 Re-purposed as much of the display is made from vegetables, fruit and flowers. We were particularly taken with the wall carefully made from potatoes.

How familiar are you with her books and if you are how many characters do you recognise?

Some of the bunnies have been put to work on the planting implement.

I just love the Tiggywinkle prickles.

Have you noticed the pair of trousers on the line?

There is no doubt that someone at Lifton Farm has an amazing imagination and talent.

 As well as a sense of humour.
