Evening Light

After dull weather for most of the day the sun began to shine in the afternoon. It was a lovely evening to go up to one of fields and the evening light was beautiful across the Chew Valley.

The sun still dappled across the field.

One of the more inquisitive horses came to see what we were doing.

There are still a lot of bluebells about.

And you would need plenty of puff to tell the time with this number of dandelions.

When I was walking back the sky was a multitude of patterns.

It looks hopeful for a fine bank holiday Monday.

  1. Lovely! I particularly like the dandelion clocks against the light.

    1. The horse does not actually belong to us we just rent them a field. It's actually a he. He is a stallion to serve the mares there with him.
