All Looking Colourful

This spring parts of the garden have been colourful since the first daffodils.

The wallflowers are suffering from the rain but the granny bonnets are now out.

One calendula has survived from seed I put in last year.

The clematis is at its best at the moment.

My rather contrary Welsh Poppy is also now in flower.

  1. No more columbine but Granny Bonnets, I like that connection. Your garden looks glorious in colour.

    1. Well I've learned something and it only dawned on me today what your comment meant, as I was pulling up some unwanted self-setters. I know them as aquilegias. I like both the alternative names and meanings behind them (was actually sad enough to look them up!)
