Swallows Collecting

There is already a bit of an Autumnal feel to the air at times. The apples are ripening and there are some leaves turning. The main indicator of the weather changes are the birds. The swallow's are collecting on the wires in anticipation of moving on.



There have also been house martins and sand martins collecting on our roof. Should I see them again I will try and photograph them.

Some of you may have noticed that Miriam from Miriam's Blog  has not posted her creation Short Story this week. She has asked me to let you know that she is currently in hospital and is awaiting surgery on Monday to remove her gall bladder. Please spare a moment to send her good thoughts.
