I am using two pictures from
my visit to the American Museum to take part in the weekly
Helena's Pairs this Wednesday. I have returned to the ever faithful ZIZO to depict two pictures of the fabulous magnolia tree that was in full flower by the entrance to the Mount Vernon garden. Here it is reaching over the wall.
Then zooming in I chose one group of flowers where the inside of a flower was just revealed.
What splendid flowers they are!
Absolutely! Magnificent Magnolia. Great Pair.
ReplyDeletemagnificent tree - such sculptural flowers
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful. I love magnolias, I'd love one but sadly my garden is much too small to consider getting one.
ReplyDeleteStunning! I love magnolias and have quite a few around the area I live in.
ReplyDeleteGlorious!
ReplyDeletewow- beautiful flowers!!!!
ReplyDeleteFab shots - especially the second one!
ReplyDeleteMagnolias are one of my favorite. I've taken lots of photos of them, but never seen the inside of one framed like yours. It's stunning!
ReplyDeleteLovely close up!
ReplyDeleteBoth are just lovely - I love the architectural shape of the tree, but the close up with those delicate colours is very pretty too.
ReplyDeleteOoh, how beautiful!! (I still love ZIZO, too!)
