Rainbow Evening

On Monday evening just before sunset there was the most extraordinary sky. There was rainbow on one side and a sunset on the other. The position was such that I could only get a picture of one end.


I have seen some most remarkable pictures on the television showing the complete arc and a totally pink sky in the centre. This was the best I could capture.

      Thanks for link, I checked out all the other examples of the pretty rainbow - it was pink so of course I liked it.

    ... and your best effort is excellent. An amazing natural show. I ponder; does full moon play a role in this production?, what about the upcoming eclipse?
