There are 30 or so expectant ewes still waiting their turn.
There have also been lots more visitors who are all put to work whatever their age!
We now have 3 pet lambs who enjoy any attention they can get.
They are also very good at escaping from their pen and making new encounters.
Luckily Poppy was on a lead as it was anew encounter for her too!
The lambs are adorable, and the photo of the lamb and Poppy is priceless!

ReplyDeleteCute photo of Poppy & Lamb encounter. I know retrievers don't have the herding instinct but Poppy looks as though she is sizing up options - "how do I retrieve something so big?" Lamb's thoughts might be "ha ha you're on a leash!!"
