The Walled Garden

I am finally getting round to posting the pictures I took at the Walled Garden at Mells. We made a brief visit to this on our last walk. I am certainly keen to go back for a second visit.

The walled gardens date back to the 17th Century.

They are a fascinating mixture of plants and garden sculptures.

Cut flowers and plants are on sale. Teas are served and the best bit is entrance is free.

  2. This garden is only an hour from me, it looks such a lovely place to visit. Maybe in a few weeks...

  3. Beautiful photos of a lovely garden. My dream garden would be planted within the ruins of an old stone based barn to create my version of a walled garden.
