I am finally getting round to posting the pictures I took at the Walled Garden at Mells. We made a brief visit to this on our last walk. I am certainly keen to go back for a second visit.
The walled gardens date back to the 17th Century.
They are a fascinating mixture of plants and garden sculptures.
Cut flowers and plants are on sale. Teas are served and the best bit is entrance is free.
there is something magical about a walled garden - love the sculptures sprouting from amongst the plants
ReplyDeleteThis garden is only an hour from me, it looks such a lovely place to visit. Maybe in a few weeks...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of a lovely garden. My dream garden would be planted within the ruins of an old stone based barn to create my version of a walled garden.
