In the gardens at Kilver Court is a pretty little dovecote.
It is described in the guidebook as one of the possible locations for a marriage ceremony and is described as intimate. Certainly not somewhere to ask too many guests the interior is tiny and very simple.
It does have a beautiful outlook.
I guess a few more guests could be sat outside. A few more chairs would be needed. You would get a little peek on proceedings during the ceremony.
We were married in a (reconstructed) church that was originally built in the 1600's. It barely held 40-50 guests, and it took exactly 31 seconds to walk down the aisle.
I envision a very secretive type of marriage happening there - I've read too many Gothic novels!
