Changing Landscape

I frequently post pictures of a particular field and tree that I often pass when I am out walking and have shown it in many different weather conditions. Yesterday the snow was melting rapidly revealing the fields again. This particular field has been ploughed recently in preparation for potato seed planting. There was an icing sugar coating of snow on the ridges.

It is hard to believe that this is the same bit of land as I posted on Sunday which showed a photo in the Autumn.

This is the tree that I frequently take.

Soon when the weather improves the field will be worked again for the lengthy preparation for the next potato crop. Spot the plane departing from Bristol airport. Flights were cancelled on Sunday due to the snow but all was back to normal by Monday.

  1. snow snow go away & don't come back! Neat photo of the plane almost caught in the tree. We are thinking of trying to grow potatoes in a barrel this year as our garden experiment.

  2. The icing sugar effect on the ploughed lines is very striking!
