SIt's time again to join in
Helena's Pairs for week 4. I have put together two photos that I have used in different forms before both showing the same backdrop of the Chew Valley from one of our arable fields to depict the ever rotating cycle of farm life.
Winter taken last week showing the fresh growth of the barley crop.
Summer taken last August in the midst of Harvest.
lovely fresh green coverage already and wonderful contrast with the harvest
ReplyDeleteOh these are such a contrasting pair - can't decide which I prefer the bright green or autumn golden.
ReplyDeleteOh, they're both beautiful!! (And I'm just a bit envious of all that beautiful green you have now. We still have snow on the ground, and will for another couple of months. Sigh!)
