I am a couple of days late joining Sandie at Itchifingers with her
5 in 5. The idea of this is that you take your camera and a timer. You set the timer for 5 minutes and see how many pictures you can take. Then comes the hard bit of choosing 5 of these to show.
I took my camera into the vegetable garden with a second intention of finding some possibilities for Rinda's Summertime Photography Scavenger Hunt and in particular No. 11 Fresh Produce. I found some of the very freshest still ripening on the plant.
1. Looking down the side of the garden with the rhubarb flowers in the foreground.
2. Who or what found the strawberries?
3. The raspberries are nearly there.
4. It could be summer fruit pudding soon...
5. You could eat these now or wait for the courgettes.
All looking very good!
ReplyDeleteYour garden is definitely ahead of our (much smaller) one. As always, your photographs are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteA lovely walk out in the garden. A bountiful crop of everything is on promise. Our drought is affecting the current fresh fruit crops; strawberries & raspberries. Oh I must check to see if the rhubarb has bolted ...
ReplyDeleteNice collection.
ReplyDeleteWe've been eating strawberries and raspberries, keep meaning to put in currants as Wookie likes 'em. Those courgettes look healthy!
It all looks so fresh and healthy - as evidenced by the nibbled strawberry! Sadly I only have blackcurrants growing in my garden. Your photos are lovely, thank you for taking part this month and hope you got one for your scavenger hunt at the same time.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful garden. Yummy! - love the things you are growing. Everything always tastes much better when home grown and freshly picked.
