A Fragrant Bouquet

I know that I have quite a long time to complete the Summertime Photography Scavenger Hunt as it runs until September. This year I have used quite a few of the prompts to explore possibilities and ideas in my daily posts. There is one that I am rather uncertain about how I will achieve it. No. 8 A drawing, art project, artistic photograph, scrapbook page, greeting card or art journal page created by you  is giving quite a lot of food for thought. I am not an artist and I know I could perhaps use an artistic photo but I am wondering if I can stretch the "artistic project " to cover either flowers or cooking.
I was going to a friend's house for lunch last week and borrowed an idea that I had seen on my sister's blog that  of a fragrant bouquet.
I made a collection from my garden of a variety of herbs and arranged them into a small bouquet.

I liked the idea that not only did it smell good but could also possibly be useful. I chose a mixture of parsley, mint, fennel, marjoram, bay, thyme, sage and chives. Some of the leaves stayed better than others.

I was though quite pleased with the flowers in particular the parsley and sage.

  2. I love the idea of a fragrant bouquet - I often bring a sprig of rosemary into the house for the scent

  3. Your bouquet is absolutely beautiful: without a doubt it's a work of art. (though I think cooking definitely counts too, especially amongst the more cookery-challenged of us)

  4. Great idea, and nicely executed. As for the new header ... late entry for "a windy day"? :o)
