Celebrating the 18th

Younger daughter had her 18th in the middle of her A Levels. Celebrating her birthday has been delayed by a couple of weeks until all the exams and leaver events were over. Friday saw her celebrating in town with her friends and then on Sunday it was time for a family celebration. There was time before we started for another birthday boy to open a late birthday present. My great nephew had celebrated his first birthday a month ago.

Then it was time for a little refreshment before we went out for lunch.

Which of course was also a chance for a couple of entries for the Summertime Photography Scavenger Hunt in particular No. 19 A seasonal cocktail or beverage. Glass of Prosecco anyone?

So then it was off out for a Sunday lunch out.

Followed by an opportunity to enjoy the sunny afternoon with a tea party back home in the garden.

How many birthday cakes does one girl need?

This of course gave several opportunities for another bit of the photo hunt. No. 7 A family gathering.

Meanwhile the youngest party guest was on good form.

A delight to everyone making the most of his recently found feet. Not sure he needs Grandpa's walker!

Still smiling at nearly bedtime and still full of beans after all that walking.
