The Owl and the Pussy Cat

When I was on my visit to Sidmouth last week we had a look around some of the shops.

Then we wandered through a small but impeccably kept park.  We spotted this moon hung in the tree.

It was only when we looked more carefully that we realised the reason for it.

The whole of the floral display was based on the Edward Lear poem "The Owl and the Pussycat".

It included the moon and the stars and even the five pound note. Other parts of the poem were in different parts of the park including the pig and the turkey on the hill.
