It is some years since I grew any nasturtiums from seed but every year i have a large number of plants that self seed. They grow all around the area where my washing line is and are still in full flower.
Here are a few of the blooms today after it had rained overnight.

Maggie thanks for joining in. Your nasturtiums are quite pretty. Do you ever use in salads or on cakes as I've read they are edible with a bit of a peppery taste.

DeleteThey are lovely. I bought some pickled nasturtium seeds (capers) the other day for a recipe but must have been a bit heavy handed with them - quite a powerful flavour!!
