I take part from time to time in Nancy Merrill's A photo a week challenge. Her subject this week is Off the Beaten Track. This made me think of one of the beautiful walks which we did while we were in New Zealand in part of the Abel Tasman National Park.
Our walk started by water taxi which dropped us at Onetahuti which was a virtually deserted beach.
Our walk took us through the forest paths along the coast which is not accessible by road.
We emerged eventually at Awaroa Hut which was slightly more populated with a bar serving lunches and another stretch of unspoilt sand.
Something to dream about as we begin to move towards winter.
Lovely walk.
