Then there was bit of trying out what she has learnt. I was happy for the farmer to volunteer to be the recipient.
Then it was more cards on Saturday. We got together with a group of friends for a night of Crazy Whist. It's a light hearted game of whist with a twist. Each round has a change in rules to keep everyone on their toes. Somehow I managed to win and came home with a box of chocolates.
We've been playing a new card game here in Chicago called Dixit. Even the six year old can participate. If he's not playing, it gets more challenging. I love card games, but we don't often play at home except for our bridge game.

ReplyDeleteI love to play cards but hardly ever do. Happy memories of games of Newmarket and Rummy with the ‘Aunts’ when we were young but I am not so good at the games requiring any sort of strategy 😏
