Between the showers

As predicted the day started wet and windy. We decided not to venture too far with our visitors. A Sunday roast was jointly prepared and eaten.

We then ventured out for a walk equipped with rain coats. We were however lucky and enjoyed a mainly dry walk. We walked out to see Kate's yearlings that had only just arrived when our Kendal visitors were here last summer.

Our visitors were introduced to them.

Then we helped move them.

Seems like the cattle enjoyed the change of scenery.
