Motorway Services

On the way to visit a friend we made a quick stop at Gloucester Services. These are new and Eco friendly.  Almost invisible from the road they are virtually underground. 


 The restaurant is made of some superb wood. 



There is no sign of a Macdonalds and certainly not Costa. The shop was beautifully laid out and is more like a farm shop with some lovely produce.







I would certainly recommend it for a break on your journey.

    I don't know Julie. It was a very brief visit. There is another similar one near Kendal and I think the two are connected. I thought you would like the butchers.
