A Pair of Bridges

I am joining in with Pairs created by  Helena today. Yesterday I gave an account of our rainy visit to Abbotsbury Tropical Gardens. Despite the rain I managed a few photos including:-

A  Himalayan Rope Bridge

Which I didn't attempt.

A Japanese Style Wooden Bridge

Despite the weather we had a lovely wander through these scenic gardens back and forth along many paths.

  1. Your Pairs of bridges are very unique and both in red. Isn't it great how our eyes are sharpen through participation in Pairs.

  2. I don't think I would have attempted the rope bridge either! A great pair.

  3. I did the rope bridge, back in June when the weather was almost summery, wouldn't do it now with all the rain we've had.

  5. Oh how pretty! That rope bridge reminds me of a missionary friend who's family builds safe bridges for people to use in Honduras, whenever I see one of these I'm grateful for the sturdy bridges I use.

  6. That rope bridge looks very wobbly - but the Japanese one is helpfully colorful for such a day!

  8. The rope bridge would take a bit of courage for me, but it's really lovely. And what's not to love about a bright red bridge! Great pair!
