Take Three Thursday : Iris

Today I am joining Mary-Lou with her Take Three Thursday where you choose three photos with a theme. I have chosen three iris flowers that were in bloom in my mum's garden yesterday.

    Ooh, lovely middle iris and lovely top photo!
    Saw loads of little yellow iris-y flowers growing in the (wet) disused canal the other day ... I must look them up.

    Thanks for joining in. I really like iris, all types of iris & these are gorgeous examples. You Mum is lucky to have such variety in her garden.

      I'm not sure. I am pretty sure the middle one wouldn't but I'll ask mum about the other two.

    I've just started seeing iris here. Purple are my favorites, but I see see a stunning white one with purple inside along the Rail Trail last weekend.
