Yesterday I managed to get out for a relatively dry walk. I took the path through a bit of woodland where a lot of the leaves are now on the ground giving quite a carpet of orange.
The way the wind is howling this evening there will a lot more down tomorrow.
Leaves look beautiful. Hope you kicked a few around while no-one was looking?
ReplyDeleteOh, yes, to leaf kicking!
ReplyDeleteVery scary winds tonight - driving was quite a sensation. I have already been out twice to right the dustbins and gather up the street's errant recycling. I've just heard them go over again :o(
Same here - very scary wind out there tonight. It's ripped the big clematis off tis trellis in my garden and further down the close I can see they've lost a couple of fence panels.
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed that you managed a dryish walk. It was pouring down for most of the day here.
Your walk looked fab. We had rain most of the day, and those terrible winds by the evening. Hope you are all safe and well x
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments and I hope you have all managed to avoid the wind. No I didn't get out for a walk yesterday (Tuesday) the key word in the post is the first one ...yesterdayie Monday ! I managed a walk Monday AND got my washing dry!
ReplyDelete"A carpet of orange" is such a lovely phrase
ReplyDeleteThe rain hasn't stopped here for any walks, we nearly got blown away one day!
