A Little More Colour in the Garden

When I was over at mum's last week her garden showed a mix of summer and Autumn. Many summer flowers are still giving a good show.




These nasturtiums are finding their way into the apple tree.


These Iris have moved onto Autumn with the most remarkable seed pods.



And a few more Viburnum leaves.

    All the beautiful flowers giving one final grand performance before the curtain call. I have never seen iris produced a seed pod like that - amazing!

    Wow, those iris seed pods are amazing!

    As for your comment on my blog ... you only sounded a little bit jealous! To make up for it though, I'll admit to being mega jealous of yours and your mum's gardens, and also your quarry and the photo opportunities they bring!

    I love cosmos, but never have a great deal of luck. Your are lovely!
    I'll have to check tomorrow if my irises have any seeds like yours.

      These pods only come on one type of Iris in her garden. She calls them Stinking Iris!
